Position Overview & Institutional Context

The University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore invites applications from qualified IT professionals for the role of Network Administrator. The university operates an extensive multi-site digital campus infrastructure supporting critical examination portals, digital evaluations, telemedicine, and administrative databases. The Network Administrator will maintain high availability, security, and low-latency performance of all network segments.

Key Responsibilities & Core Deliverables

• Configure and maintain core switches, routers, firewalls, and enterprise Wi-Fi controllers across university campuses.
• Implement strict perimeter security, intrusion prevention policies, and access control lists (ACLs).
• Monitor daily network performance, resolve latency bottlenecks, and conduct capacity planning for exam traffic.
• Manage redundant optical fiber uplinks and maintain dedicated disaster recovery connectivity.
• Perform routine firmware patching, configuration backups, and compliance audits on network hardware.

Minimum Eligibility & Profile Criteria

• Qualification: BS / MS in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or Information Technology.
• Experience: At least 5 years of verified enterprise networking experience.
• Technical Certifications: CCNA / CCNP or equivalent vendor-neutral routing & switching credentials.
