Surgical Duties and Clinical Scope
The Neurosurgeon handles emergency head injuries, depressed skull fractures, epidural and subdural hematomas, and spinal trauma interventions. Responsibilities include evaluating neuro-trauma admissions, performing emergency craniotomies, supervising neuro-intensive care patients, and establishing referral protocols for specialized subspecialty care.
