Core Responsibilities & Work Functions
The daily operational scope and functional deliverables for this role include:
- Supervise the installation, commissioning, and routine maintenance of digital switching systems, IP networks, and fiber transmission links.
- Diagnose and rectify network outages, packet latency issues, and transmission faults in coordination with regional engineering centers.
- Implement cybersecurity protocols, data encryption guidelines, and quality of service (QoS) standards across official government circuits.
- Manage preventive maintenance schedules for telecom power systems, backup generators, and network management consoles.
- Liaise with the Pakistan Engineering Council and statutory authorities during technical infrastructure upgrades.
Eligibility Criteria & Candidate Qualifications
Applicants must hold a recognized Bachelor of Engineering degree in Telecom, Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering with active PEC registration. Candidates must possess valid Balochistan domicile. Age limit is up to 35 years including 5 years general relaxation.
