The daily operational scope and functional deliverables for this role include:
- Assist ward nursing staff in lifting, turning, and mobilizing bedridden or post-operative patients to prevent pressure sores.
- Transport inpatient individuals on wheelchairs and stretchers to radiological diagnostics, ultrasound suites, and surgical recovery zones.
- Distribute sterilized bed linens, hospital gowns, and hygiene essentials across patient beds, maintaining orderly ward spaces.
- Assist with the prompt delivery of routine diagnostic specimens to clinical pathology laboratories under strict nurse guidance.
- Maintain close vigilance over patient comfort and inform attending nursing officers immediately of any emergency distress symptoms.
