The Operations Engineer ensures continuous 24/7 service availability across all major airport systems.
Core Responsibilities & Work Functions
The daily operational scope and functional deliverables for this role include:
- Install, configure, patch, and administer enterprise Windows and Linux server environments and VMware/Hyper-V virtualization clusters.
- Oversee 24/7 IT helpdesk support services, incident ticketing management, and technical user assistance across airport divisions.
- Monitor enterprise server health, storage area networks (SAN), and automated backup schedules to ensure business continuity.
- Manage vendor service contracts, software licenses, maintenance SLAs, and hardware warranty lifecycle renewals.
- Draft technical specifications, RFP documents, and bill of quantities for airport IT hardware and infrastructure procurements.
