This position offers a Special Pay Package to improve child health outcomes, neonatal intensive care, and paediatric emergency services across hospitals in Lahore.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
The Paediatrician will manage child outpatient clinics, paediatric inpatient wards, and Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU/PICU). Responsibilities include managing acute pediatric infections, dehydration, nutritional deficiencies, neonatal respiratory distress, and directing immunization schedules.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility Nuances
Candidates must hold an MBBS and an FCPS, MD, or PMDC-recognized qualification in Paediatrics. Hands-on experience in neonatal resuscitation and critical pediatric stabilization along with an active PMDC license is required.
Nature of Appointment and Terms
Appointments are made on a contract basis under the Government of Punjab Special Pay Package regulations, without conferring permanent civil service status.
