The Director PRSP (Patient Care) oversees patient clinical rehabilitation services, orthotic manufacturing standards, clinical outreach, and comprehensive patient care protocols across specialized workshops.
Core Responsibilities & Work Functions
The daily operational scope and functional deliverables for this role include:
- Lead and supervise the clinical and technical operations of the Patient Care and Rehabilitation Services Division.
- Ensure clinical standards in fabricating, fitting, and aligning artificial limbs, orthoses, and mobility aids for persons with physical disabilities.
- Manage multidisciplinary patient rehabilitation teams including prosthetists, orthotists, physiotherapists, and clinical technicians.
- Formulate quality assurance guidelines, patient intake workflows, and clinical research protocols aligned with international rehabilitation benchmarks.
- Coordinate with international donor agencies, health departments, and partner hospitals to expand subsidized assistive device outreach.
