The DevOps + Cyber Security Engineer builds automated CI/CD deployment pipelines while enforcing modern cloud security and threat mitigation protocols.
Core Responsibilities & Work Functions
The daily operational scope and functional deliverables for this role include:
- Build, manage, and optimize automated CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and automated zero-downtime deployments.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible on provincial government cloud servers.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, security patch management, and threat simulations.
- Configure and monitor Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and centralized security log analytics.
- Ensure high availability, load balancing, server monitoring, and incident response readiness across all ASPIRE public endpoints.
