With provincial school databases supporting massive concurrency during admissions and exam cycles, comprehensive testing is critical. The QA / Test Engineer conducts functional, automated, security, and load testing to guarantee high reliability and system security.
Core Responsibilities & Work Functions
The daily operational scope and functional deliverables for this role include:
- Formulate comprehensive test plans, automated test suites, and traceability matrices for public school management applications.
- Execute automated and manual regression tests, API testing using Postman/REST-assured, and functional validation.
- Perform load, stress, and endurance testing using JMeter to identify performance bottlenecks and database deadlocks.
- Conduct application security scans to intercept SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), and authentication flaws.
- Log, track, and verify defects in issue management systems (Jira), collaborating with developers for root-cause resolution.
