The Software Team Lead directs the core software engineering squad building scalable web portals and mobile applications under the World Bank-assisted ASPIRE initiative.
Core Responsibilities & Work Functions
The daily operational scope and functional deliverables for this role include:
- Lead the software development lifecycle, architecting robust educational data systems, school registries, and teacher performance dashboards.
- Manage sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, and Agile release cycles across multi-disciplinary engineering squads.
- Ensure application architecture aligns with microservices best practices, database normalization, and high-availability standards.
- Oversee integration of provincial school education APIs with provincial finance and human resource databases.
- Mentor software engineers, enforce clean code standards, and ensure timely resolution of production bugs.
