Power Highway is seeking an experienced operational leader for the position of Production Manager at its manufacturing and assembly facility in Lahore. The selected professional will lead plant operations, assembly lines, and capacity planning for clean energy systems and smart electronics hardware.
Role Overview & Responsibilities
The Production Manager will oversee day-to-day manufacturing and assembly operations to ensure high throughput, cost efficiency, and safety. Responsibilities include:
- Planning, scheduling, and directing production workflows for solar energy hardware, electrical assembly, and smart device manufacturing.
- Optimizing plant machinery utilization, workflow ergonomics, and assembly cycle times to achieve delivery commitments.
- Enforcing Lean manufacturing principles, 5S methodologies, and waste minimization protocols on the shop floor.
- Managing shop floor supervisors, line technicians, and operators to maintain high productivity and morale.
- Collaborating with quality control and procurement teams to maintain component availability and compliance with ISO quality standards.
- Implementing safety protocols, equipment maintenance schedules, and plant risk assessments.
Candidate Profile & Eligibility Nuances
Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial) or relevant discipline, backed by 7 to 10 years of progressive production management experience in electronics, electrical manufacturing, or consumer appliances.
