Role Overview and Professorial Responsibilities
Professors will head designated academic departments (Anatomy, Histopathology, Pharmacology, Anesthesiology, Paediatrics, ENT, Ophthalmology, and Radiology), delivering undergraduate MBBS lectures, conducting postgraduate clinical training at affiliated teaching hospitals in Muzaffarabad, and authoring medical research.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility Nuances
Applicants must possess terminal postgraduate qualifications and documented faculty teaching tenure strictly compliant with Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC) criteria, verified by a PM&DC Experience/Eligibility Certificate. Preference will be extended to AJK state subjects.
Nature of Appointment and Terms
Appointment is on a contract basis under GoAJK Contract Policy 2006 for an initial tenure of 3 years (extendable), with an attractive monthly compensation package of PKR 425,000/-.
