The University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore invites applications from distinguished academic leaders for the prestigious appointment of Professor of Pharmacology under Regular / Tenure Track System (TTS) modalities. Situated at Khayaban-e-Jamia Punjab, UHS is Punjab's flagship medical sciences university dedicated to world-class medical training and clinical research. The appointee will steer advanced postgraduate curricula, head translational biomedical studies, and guide doctoral scholars.

Key Responsibilities & Core Deliverables

• Direct academic curriculum delivery and clinical pharmacology coursework for undergraduate and postgraduate scholars.
• Lead high-impact translational and clinical trials aligned with provincial public healthcare priorities.
• Supervise MPhil and PhD dissertations adhering strictly to PM&DC and Higher Education Commission benchmarks.
• Spearhead international collaborative research grants and patent disclosures in pharmaceutical sciences.
• Serve on University Board of Studies, Academic Council, and departmental governance committees.
• Ensure departmental adherence to ISO quality assurance frameworks and national laboratory safety accreditations.

Minimum Eligibility & Profile Criteria

• Academic Qualification: PhD or FCPS / equivalent terminal doctorate in Pharmacology recognized by PM&DC and HEC.
• Professional Experience: Minimum 10 to 15 years of post-qualification teaching and research experience in a recognized institution.
• Research Record: Established research trajectory with a minimum of 15 recognized publications in PM&DC/HEC indexed impact factor journals.
• Registration: Active, valid permanent registration with the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC).

• Generate the system-printed application form and attach attested copies of all degrees, transcripts, experience certificates, PM&DC registration, CNIC, recent photographs, and four complete sets of research publications.
• Submit the dossier via registered courier or by hand to the Office of the Registrar, University of Health Sciences, Khayaban-e-Jamia Punjab, Lahore.
• The closing date for submission of online applications and delivery of printed dossiers is October 31, 2026. Late submissions will not be entertained.
