Role Overview and Responsibilities
The QA Engineer oversees quality assurance for electricity market settlement platforms and operational software. Key duties include designing comprehensive test plans and test scenarios, executing functional, regression, performance, and load testing; writing automated test scripts; identifying and documenting bugs in issue-tracking systems; and collaborating with developers to validate software releases prior to production deployment.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility Nuances
Candidates must possess a 4-year degree in CS, IT, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering from an HEC-recognized university. Relevant testing certifications (such as ISTQB) and at least 5 years of post-qualification software QA experience involving test automation frameworks (Selenium, JMeter) are preferred. Maximum age: 35 years.
