Engineering Consultancy Services Punjab (Pvt.) Limited (ECSP) is inviting applications for 2 positions of Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join its project cost management division in Lahore.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
The Quantity Surveyor / Estimator performs material takeoffs from engineering drawings, prepares Bills of Quantities (BOQs), develops rate analysis based on MRS/market rates, and prepares comprehensive project cost estimates for infrastructure, civil, and MEP projects. Key duties include verifying contractor interim payment certificates (IPCs), auditing measurement books, evaluating variation orders, and assisting project managers in contract administration.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility Nuances
Applicants must possess a Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or recognized professional certification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Cost Estimation. A minimum of 5 to 7 years of field experience in quantity takeoff, estimation, and rate analysis with engineering consulting or contracting firms is required.
Nature of Appointment and Terms
Positions are contract-based with market-based remuneration according to ECSP service rules.
