Role Overview and Responsibilities
The radiologist will interpret and report computerized tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), digital radiography, and contrast studies. Additional responsibilities include performing diagnostic color Doppler sonography, ultrasound-guided biopsies and drainages, and coordinating urgent reporting for trauma and neurosurgical emergencies.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility Nuances
Applicants must hold an MBBS together with an FCPS, MD, DMRD, or equivalent PMDC-recognized qualification in Diagnostic Radiology. Up-to-date registration with PMDC and familiarity with hospital Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) are mandatory.
