Role Overview and Statutory Mandate
The Registrar serves as the whole-time principal administrative officer of the university and secretary to the Syndicate, Academic Council, and Selection Board. The Registrar is the custodian of the common seal and academic records of the university, overseeing admissions, faculty appointments, statutory regulatory compliance, and administrative affairs.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility Nuances
Candidates must possess a PhD with 8 years, MS/MPhil with 10 years, or Master/BS with 12 years of administrative and teaching experience in an accredited university or public sector organization. Domicile of Punjab is required. Age must be between 40 and 50 years.
