Role Overview and Research Responsibilities
Research Assistants support faculty departments, academic institutes, and curriculum development wings with empirical research, educational data analytics, and publication drafting. Responsibilities encompass conducting literature reviews, coding and analyzing quantitative survey data, maintaining research archives, organizing academic conferences, and assisting department chairpersons in course evaluation studies.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility Nuances
Eligible candidates must possess 16 years of education with 1st Class or a 2nd Class Graduation from an HEC-recognized institution. Prior experience in academic research or 4 years of verified operational experience in BPS-14 within government or higher education bodies is preferred. The age limit is up to 33 years inclusive of the 5-year relaxation.
Nature of Appointment and Terms
Positions are offered on a regular/contract basis under AIOU Services Statutes 1978. Serving personnel in civil administration or autonomous bodies must provide an official NOC from their respective controlling department.
