Program Background and Educational Context
The School Education Department launched the STIs program to overcome teacher shortages, ensure unhindered academic instruction, and enhance learning outcomes across public sector primary schools in Punjab. Interns serve a critical role in foundational literacy and numeracy delivery across district schooling networks.
Instructional Duties and Pedagogical Scope
The Primary Level School Teacher Intern delivers daily classroom instruction in foundational subjects including Urdu, English, Mathematics, General Science, and Islamiat. Key duties include developing lesson plans according to the Single National Curriculum (SNC), conducting student assessments, maintaining attendance records, supporting co-curricular activities, and fostering a constructive, inclusive classroom environment.

- Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) copy.

Submission Guidelines and Selection Timeline
Applications must be submitted online through the official STI portal (https://sti.pesrp.edu.pk/) by October 18, 2026 till 11:59 PM. Merit lists will be displayed at respective schools on October 23, 2026, followed by interviews from October 29 to 30, 2026. Final placement orders will be issued on November 02, 2026. Monthly stipend is PKR 38,000/-.
