Role Overview and Responsibilities
The Senior Engineer plays an integral role in grid management, system security, and power market simulation. Primary responsibilities include monitoring high-voltage transmission networks, performing power flow studies, conducting contingency analysis, coordinating economic dispatch protocols with generation entities, evaluating transmission constraints, and supporting system operations under the Commercial Code and Grid Code.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility Nuances
Candidates must possess a 4-year Bachelor degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from an HEC-recognized institution with valid registration from the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). A minimum of 5 years of relevant post-qualification engineering experience in power utility operations, grid stations, transmission planning, or power dispatch is required. The maximum age limit is 35 years.
