Institutional Context & Operational Scope
The Store Keeper is responsible for the secure receipt, storage, inventory accounting, and issuance of construction supplies, building materials, tools, safety gear, and spare parts across Octa Contracting construction sites.
Core Responsibilities & Work Functions
The daily operational scope and functional deliverables for this role include:
- Inspect and verify incoming consignments of cement, steel rebar, electrical components, and plumbing hardware against purchase orders.
- Maintain daily goods received notes (GRN), store issue vouchers (SIV), and computerized inventory ledgers.
- Conduct monthly physical stock reconciliations, reporting material shortages or damages to the Procurement Manager.
- Ensure proper stacking, preservation, and theft-proof storage of tools and expensive project equipment.
- Coordinate prompt material dispatch to site supervisors to support uninterrupted civil works.
Eligibility Criteria & Candidate Qualifications
