Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Mailsi Cantt, District Vehari, invites applications from experienced medical doctors and surgeons for the clinical position of Surgical Specialist to deliver quality surgical care to defense personnel, families, and civilian patients.
Role Overview and Surgical Responsibilities
The Surgical Specialist provides elective and emergency general surgical procedures, conducts inpatient rounds, manages the surgical intensive care unit, performs diagnostic evaluations, and provides clinical leadership to junior house officers and medical trainees at CMH Mailsi.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility Nuances
Applicants must be FCPS Part II qualified / completed training, or hold MCPS, IMM, or MD in Surgery with an active PM&DC license. Preference will be granted to FCPS Part II candidates. Candidates require 1 to 2 years of clinical surgical experience. The age ceiling is 35 years for civilian doctors and up to 45 years for retired military medical officers.
Nature of Appointment and Terms
The position is on a contractual basis with an attractive fixed monthly salary of Rs. 350,000 (3.5 Lakh) per month. Preference is extended to retired military officers and their families.
