A renowned public sector organization invites qualified polytechnic diploma holders to attend walk-in interviews for the temporary role of Tech-I (Chemical / Civil) on fixed monthly wages during scheduled plant shutdown maintenance at Karachi.
Institutional Context and Generating Facility Overview
Major power production complexes in Karachi operate extensive water demineralization systems, chemical dosing facilities, containment structures, and civil water intake conduits. Routine shutdown intervals provide the window for rigorous structural remediation, concrete seal inspections, and chemical process circuit renewals required for continuous plant reliability.
Operational Scope and Technical Turnaround Duties
Technicians with a chemical focus assist in sampling water treatment streams, monitoring ion-exchange resin beds, operating chemical injection skids, and preparing passivation solutions. Civil discipline technicians inspect containment coatings, conduct non-destructive structural checks, monitor expansion joints, and repair protective masonry and drainage networks under the supervision of senior engineers.
Application Preparation and Document Checklist
Applicants must assemble their documentation package comprising the following materials:
- Detailed curriculum vitae detailing polytechnic specialization in Chemical or Civil technology.
- Original DAE diploma (1st Div) along with one set of attested photocopies.
