Role Overview and Inspection Duties
Train Examiners Grade-II perform detailed mechanical checks of trains at transit yards and terminal platforms, inspecting undercarriages, suspension springs, brake pressure systems, and draw gear to ensure safe railway transit.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility Nuances
Applicants must be retired Pakistan Railways employees with a DAE in Mechanical and at least 10 years of rolling stock experience. Maximum age is 62 years.
Nature of Appointment and Terms
Contract appointment for one year, extendable for one year. Salary based on last pay drawn in BS-12 with standard allowances.
