Standard Operational Scope & Professional Duties
The Junior Technician (Electrical) carries out testing, preventative servicing, and troubleshooting of medium- and high-voltage electrical apparatus. Core duties include measuring insulation resistance on generator stator windings, servicing circuit breakers and disconnectors, checking battery bank specific gravity, testing relay protection circuits, monitoring switchyard telemetry transducers, and replacing control cables during maintenance turnarounds.
