Core Responsibilities & Work Functions
The daily operational scope and functional deliverables for this role include:
- Guide incoming patients into radiography rooms, explaining basic exam posture requirements and maintaining calm waiting queues.
- Assist elderly, pediatric, or trauma patients onto X-ray examination couches while observing radiological safety standards.
- Fasten protective lead aprons, thyroid shields, and gonadal guards on patients and attending relatives during radiography exposures.
- Keep radiological examination tables, Bucky stands, and control consoles hygienically sanitized and free of dust.
- Transport radiographic image requisitions and clinical tokens between consultation desks and diagnostic stations.
