1) Senior Team Lead (Design & Standards)
As Senior Team Lead (Design & Standards), you will drive the development, harmonization, and continuous improvement of technical standards across the power value chain. You’ll collaborate with government stakeholders, DISCOs, NTDC, GENCOs, and private partners to align standards with international best practices and Pakistan’s policy priorities.
Key focus areas
- Establishing/updating power system design guidelines and grid codes in alignment with safety, reliability, and efficiency objectives.
- Leading cross-functional reviews of specifications for generation, transmission, and distribution assets.
- Conducting gap analyses versus global benchmarks, and recommending actionable upgrades.
- Mentoring engineering teams and building institutional capacity for standards governance.
2) Senior Team Lead (Material Inspection)
As Senior Team Lead (Material Inspection), you will safeguard quality and compliance for equipment and materials procured by sector entities. You’ll set inspection plans, lead audit missions, and ensure that delivered items meet approved specifications and standards.
Key focus areas
- Designing risk-based inspection protocols from factory acceptance through site delivery.
- Verifying conformance of materials (e.g., transformers, conductors, protective devices) against approved specs.
- Managing inspection reporting, non-conformance handling, and vendor corrective actions.
- Training and uplifting inspection teams across entities for consistent, transparent oversight.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree (16 years) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (required). A relevant Master’s (18 years) is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years post-qualification in power system design, standards development, and/or material inspection.
