Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualification: Ph.D. in Plant Breeding & Genetics (PBG), Agriculture
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years in cotton research/administration
  • Maximum Age Limit: 50 years (relaxation as per government rules)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage PSDP project “Revival of Cotton in Pakistan: Innovation for a Sustainable Future”.
  • Provide strategic direction for cotton research and development activities.
  • Supervise research teams and administrative staff.
  • Ensure project targets are achieved within the stipulated timeframe.
  • Collaborate with national and international research organizations.
  • Submit progress reports to the Ministry of National Food Security and Research.
