About the Role

The PS to DG (Personal Secretary to Director General) at the National Forensics Agency (NFA) provides high-level executive support, ensuring fast, accurate, and confidential handling of correspondence, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination. As PS to DG, you’ll manage the DG’s office calendar, prepare briefs, draft minutes, and streamline communications across government, law enforcement, and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage DG’s calendar, travel, meetings, and confidential files with impeccable discretion.
  • Draft, transcribe (including shorthand), and format official correspondence, briefs, and minutes.
  • Coordinate with internal directorates and external stakeholders for timely follow-ups and task tracking.
  • Prepare presentations and data sheets in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; ensure version control and proper record-keeping.
  • Maintain a prioritized inbox/register and ensure on-time dispatch and receipt of official documents.
  • Support meeting logistics, visitor management, and protocol.

Eligibility & Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s degree (16 years) from an HEC-recognized institution.
  • Experience: 3+ years as PA/PS to the head of department in Government/Semi-Government/Corporate.
  • Skills: Strong English, shorthand, MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint), and at least 40 W.P.M typing speed.
  • Preference: Female candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Age Limit: Maximum 35 years (general relaxation as per Federal Government rules).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Monthly Salary (gross): PKR 120,000 – 180,000 (indicative range for listing; final as per applicable rules and experience).
  • Contract appointment on merit with benefits as per Government policy.
