Job Description – Security Guard (OS-02)

Punjab Daanish Schools and Centres of Excellence Authority, Government of the Punjab, is inviting applications from disciplined and physically fit candidates for the post of Security Guard at its Boys and Girls campuses in Dera Ghazi Khan. The Security Guard role is critical in ensuring the safety, discipline, and smooth functioning of the school environment where thousands of students study and live.

Key Responsibilities

As a Security Guard at Daanish Schools, you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment within school premises.
• Performing regular security checks at gates, classrooms, and hostels.
• Monitoring movement of vehicles and individuals entering and leaving the campus.
• Protecting school property and ensuring discipline among visitors and students.
• Using guarding and security tools effectively.
• Maintaining mental stability and discipline, especially during the probation/adhoc period.
• Assisting in emergency situations, including fire safety and evacuation procedures.
• Reporting suspicious activity to the administration.
• Performing weapon handling and security drills when required.

Required Qualification & Experience

• Minimum qualification: Middle Class (Class-VII) or equivalent.
• Preference for candidates with armed forces background, such as:
  • Pakistan Army
  • Pakistan Air Force
  • Air Defense
  • Rangers
  • Frontier Corps
  • Corps of Engineers
  • Pakistan Navy Marines
  • Mojahid Force
  • Punjab Police
• Must have excellent physique, including height, chest, eyesight, and overall fitness.
• Preference will be given to candidates with 5 years of proven experience in weapon handling (practical test will be conducted).
• Driver course (500 gauge) will be an added advantage.
