Core Responsibilities
As a Senior Lecturer, Assistant Professor, or Consultant, your role will be multi-faceted, encompassing high-level clinical care, academic responsibilities, and institutional development.
- Clinical Leadership: Provide expert-level diagnosis, management, and treatment within your specialized department, serving as a clinical leader and subject matter expert.
- Teaching and Mentorship: Actively participate in the teaching, supervision, and mentorship of Resident Medical Officers, clinical trainees, and junior medical staff, ensuring the transfer of knowledge and clinical skills.
- Patient Care Excellence: Uphold and promote the highest standards of compassionate and evidence-based patient care, maintaining a relentless focus on quality and patient safety in all aspects of service delivery.
- Research & Publication: Engage in relevant clinical research, contribute to publications, and present findings to further the institution’s academic standing, meeting PMDC standards.
- Departmental Development: Collaborate with the department head and hospital management to develop clinical protocols, enhance service delivery, and improve patient outcomes.
