Guided by our motto—“Dedicated to Nurturing Minds, Restoring Hopes”—we’re expanding services in Jhelum and inviting an experienced Special Education Teacher to join our academic & clinical team.

Why this role matters

You’ll be at the heart of an integrated practice that includes Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Behaviour Therapists, Audiologists, Physiotherapists, and visiting medical specialists. This collaborative model ensures children receive coordinated interventions and families experience a single, supportive ecosystem—allowing your instructional plans to translate into measurable, life-changing outcomes.

What you’ll do

  • Design and implement IEPs grounded in assessments, curriculum standards, and functional goals.
  • Deliver differentiated instruction across literacy, numeracy, life skills, and social communication using multi-sensory approaches.
  • Apply evidence-based strategies (e.g., ABA-informed techniques, task analysis, visual schedules, social stories) aligned with student profiles.
  • Coordinate therapy carryover with SLPs/OTs/psychologists to reinforce classroom goals through therapy targets and AAC use.
  • Track progress and maintain records (data sheets, baseline & review reports, parent communication logs) with clear, objective metrics.
  • Conduct parent meetings & training, equipping caregivers to support generalization at home.
  • Contribute to safeguarding and inclusion, ensuring a positive, respectful, and regulation-friendly classroom environment.

What you’ll bring

  • MA/M.Ed (Special Education) from a recognized institution (required).
  • 2+ years of relevant classroom experience in special/inclusive education.
  • Working knowledge of IEP frameworks, behaviour support plans, and progress monitoring.
  • Familiarity with AAC (low- and high-tech), visual supports, and structured teaching.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with clinicians, assistants/caregivers, and parents.
  • Compassion, patience, and a growth mindset to nurture learner independence.

Nice-to-have

  • Exposure to autism, ADHD, SLD, Down syndrome, hearing impairment, or global developmental delay.
  • Short courses/certifications in ABA, PECS, TEACCH, or inclusive education methodologies.
  • Experience coaching classroom assistants/caregivers.
