Role Requirements: Skills, Experience, and Education

The successful candidate must demonstrate a solid foundation in both Information Technology and Business Analysis principles to effectively drive organizational improvements.

Mandatory Requirements:

1. Education: Four (04) years Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Software Engineering from a University or Institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. Applicants with foreign degrees must submit an HEC Equivalence Certificate.
2. Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience as a Business Analyst, specifically in requirements gathering, process modeling (e.g., using BPMN), system analysis, and documentation. Experience in public sector, finance, or taxation domains will be highly regarded.

Estimated Compensation & Benefits (Negotiable)

In line with government sector standards and commensurate with the critical nature of the role and the candidate’s verified experience and skills, the Sindh Revenue Board offers a competitive salary package.

• Estimated Annual Salary Range: PKR 1,500,000 to PKR 2,800,000 (Rs. 125,000 to Rs. 233,000 per month).
• Note on Salary: The final salary will be negotiated based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and interview performance.
• Contract Type: Initial one-year contract, extendable based on performance review.

The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in the SRB’s continuous improvement initiatives, including the automation of tax and revenue collection systems. Responsibilities will encompass:

• Conducting detailed business analysis, gathering user requirements (functional and non-functional) from various SRB departments.
• Translating business needs into clear, concise technical specifications and user stories for the development team.
• Developing and maintaining current-state and future-state process maps.
• Assisting in the design and testing of new software features and digital services to enhance taxpayer compliance and SRB’s efficiency.
• Performing GAP analysis to identify areas for system improvement and automation.
• Providing support and training to end-users on newly implemented or updated systems.
